Won't you take me to.. Bunky Town!

How many times have you found a cute Bunky, or a Perfect Tool Shed or 10' shipping container office online in the Southern Gulf Islands or on Vancouver Island and thought to yourself: "It's Perfect! ..how do I move this though?"

I think that we've ALL had this thought cross our minds at one point in time, only to give up on that little dream and move on with the day. Luckily for some, they already knew about this service just days before that is locally available to them because a friend, family member or colleague told them about this crane truck on the Island that can pick up and move a typical shed without breaking the bank by calling someone to ferry over from the city. The timing was impeccable and these folks now enjoy the extra usable space without needing to construct it.

With the Insane cost of building, lead times, permits, etc., more and more have been looking to bunky's and shipping containers these days and getting quite creative with them on building out buildings and even full-on dwellings out of them on vacant land that they've acquired. For example, you can place (4) 8x12 sheds facing each other, 12 feet apart in the middle and build an awning or gazebo structure in the center, connecting them, so to speak.

Of course you would need to check with your local land use by-laws and do your due-diligence before ever considering taking this route. For the most part, you can have as many sheds / bunky's as you wish as long as they are under 10 square meters in floor space, less than 10' tall (average), not covering more than 25% of the property, and not within certain distances of property lines.

If you or someone that you know is looking to get their hands on a bunky, container office, chicken coop, or any other similar types of buildings, tell them about us or give us a call and we would be happy to help!
